Summer Time is Seafood TimeClam Box, Ipswich If a debate rages on the North Shore over who has the best clams, the Clam Box seems to always be in the discussion. Housed in a structure that aims to appear like the container in which you might enjoy your meal, the portions at the Clam Box are often celebrated as generous. Be prepared to wait, as the shack can get slammed during busy summer hours. 246 High St., Ipswich, www.ipswichma.com/clambox/index.htm

Seafood is my favorite food. As such I've eaten a lot of seafood over the years and in a lot places. My favorite place EVER, is the Clam Box in Ipswich. It's the best, always fresh and I have never been disappointed by the quality or taste. Not just the fried stuff either, lobster roll, baked stuffed, etc.

Also if you time it right, you can get some great seafood and then head over to Cranes Beach (also in Ipswich) for an awesome picnic on the beach. Just perfect.

Here's a great link from the Boston Globe listing New England clam and lobster shacks.

Simply crazy, I love the ocean, and it looks so cool, but there is no way on God's good earth I would ever get out in those things. At least Kelly has enough brains not to.

The Aquatic Buddha Blog (Water Zen)

Surfers know it.

Sailors know it.

Divers know it.

Swimmers know it.

Anglers know it.

It’s that surreal supernatural oneness with the water. I’m not sure where it comes from. I know when I was a child I spent a lot of time in and around the water at the lake, at the ocean, and at the pool. My love of the water comes from no particular place, and is a blend of a variety of aquatic experiences.

This blog is dedicated to that, to the aquatic zen, the harmony that slows your heart beat and immerses you in peace when you connect with it.
